Location: Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, New Brunswick, New Jersey

Located in the Children’s Health Institute of NJ in New Brunswick, NJ, the RBHS desired to expand their Chancellor’s Suite for RBHS into an adjacent lounge area to create new offices and a proper reception area for visitors.  The new administrative offices are large enough to accommodate an executive desk with small conferencing tables and side chairs.  Since the offices were located along the exterior window wall, featuring full height glass, interior glazing was provided to allow natural light to permeate the inboard clerical space.  Frosted patterned glass was utilized at eye level with clear glazing above to maximize infiltration of light. Despite the transparency, offices were designed to keep acoustical privacy in mind. 

Flow patterns to adjacent conferencing areas and egress stairs were maintained.
